DC Motor + Stepper FeatherWing Add-on For All Feather Boards

This add-on board supercharges any Adafruit Feather with support for up to 4 brushed DC motors or 2 bipolar steppers (mix possible), via I2C control—no PWM pins needed. Perfect for first-year engineering students prototyping robots or CNC on compact Feathers.

TB6612 H-bridge chips deliver 1.2A per channel (3A peak) at 4.5–13.5VDC, with thermal/overcurrent protection. 3.5mm screw terminals for 18–26AWG wires; external power recommended (separate from Feather battery). Stackable up to 32 wings for massive motor arrays.

Motor Configurations

• 4 DC motors (12-bit PWM speed, bi-directional).
• 2 steppers (microstepping, single/double coil).
• Motors auto-disable on boot.
