This is a personalization service where you bring your own candle, and we use a laser engraver to etch a custom design or name onto it. It's a thoughtful, handmade gift option perfect for holidays like Christmas, birthdays, or anniversaries.

Service Details

• Process: Bring your candle to the makerspace; we engrave text (like names) or simple designs on the surface.
• Customization: Standard names or messages; custom designs possible—email details for approval.
• How to order: Email makerstore@uottawa.ca with your order, design attachment (if custom), and preferred meeting time.
• Candle requirements: Smooth, flat surfaces work best (e.g., glass jars or wax pillars); test a small area first for material compatibility.
• Turnaround: Quick service during scheduled meetings, ideal for last-minute gifts.
