Couldn't load pickup availability
This breakout board gives you a ready-to-use, single-button capacitive touch sensor without needing a microcontroller. Just power it (1.8–5.5 VDC), touch the metal pad, and the red LED lights up while the output pin goes high—perfect for quick “touch-to-activate” projects like lamp toggles, interactive art, or simple buttonless interfaces. You can also solder a wire to the center pad to extend the touch area for custom shapes or surfaces.
Key Specs
- Supply voltage: 1.8–5.5 VDC
- Logic level: Compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V systems
- Output: Digital HIGH when capacitive load detected (e.g., finger touch)
- Current draw:
- Fast mode: ~0.5 mA (default, more responsive)
- Ultra‑low‑power mode: ~50 µA (jumper modifiable)
- On‑board feedback: Red LED indicates touch state
- Mode control: Jumper to switch between fast and ultra‑low‑power modes
- Panel extensibility: Extra pad for custom capacitive touch electrodes
Note: Product size and dimensions may vary. The internal LED can be disconnected from the output pin by cutting the trace on the labeled jumper if you need cleaner signal wiring or lower power.
